Start with a smaller dose so the animal gets used to the taste, then increase to the recommended dose. Mixed into – or sprinkled on – food. How quickly bad breath and tartar decrease can vary in different animals. Dogs are very different and sometimes a larger dose than the recommended dose is needed. If no effect is experienced after 2 months, you can increase the dose. Then try reducing to the normal dose when visible effect is achieved.
